Cole’s Story
Cole Gordon’s tragic passing at the young age of 17 brought to light his love of community through his extensive volunteerism. Born and raised in Friendswood, Texas, he followed in his family’s footsteps giving time to worthy causes. Starting with the Lighthouse Charity Team – feeding people in need, he ventured on to FFA, raising farm animals for show, while spending endless hours helping the Friendswood Fire Department, Police and Emergency Medical Service Departments, the Rotary Club of Galveston, Galveston County Emergency Response, the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, along with many of his friends from FFA.
In the last 9 years of his life, Cole’s volunteering activities spanned 750 charitable events and touched the lives of over 500,000 people.
Cole was known throughout the community for his “Helping Hand”.
When there was a need, Cole was there.
This foundation will continue the dedication to service lived by Cole and now shared with others.

Great Weekend at the Cole Gordon Memorial Swine Show!
It was exactly 1 year ago today that we opened this beautiful food truck to serve at events like this and to remember, Cole. He would have Loved today!
While this is not everyone that volunteered – This group set up the CGHH trailer and served breakfast each morning and logged 421 Volunteer Hours!
Look at the Cole Gordon truck and trailer rollin’ in to the event! This is why we work to raise funds – to support students at these events
This is the CGHH Trailer ready for business and it looks great! Cole would have loved it.
Our Volunteers make it happen! We sold more than 2100 items over the weekend and could not have done it without the help of our volunteers.
These students are why we work so hard!
